Moment-Curvature Plot

The moment-curvature (M-k) diagram is displayed by clicking the M-k button at the top of the column dialog box. There are three curves:

  • The blue curve is for zero axial force.
  • The red curve, if present, is for co-existing axial force. Negative axial force is tension.
  • The green curve represents AS 3600 EQ. 8.5.3.1(1) or AS 5100.5 EQ. 8.5.3.1.
